Local 4 News Morning will be at Dearborn High for a live pep rally Friday morning starting at 6 a.m. Pre-game features from the field will be seen on Friday on Local 4 News at 5 and 6 p.m., and game highlights will be shown on Local 4 News at 11 p.m., and Sunday night on Sports Final Edition with Katrina Hancock. A complete highlight reel on the game will also be posted at ClickOnDetroit.com/4Frenzy on Monday.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Hello Freshman Parents,

This is just a quick heads up that DHS Parent Teacher Conferences are tonight from 4 - 7:15pm and Wednesday October 27 from 4 - 7:15pm. The staff will be seated throughout the cafeteria in alphabetical order. Student report cards will be handed out in front of the Auditorium during the evening of conferences to PARENTS ONLY.

Please limit your conference with each teacher to five minutes. If additional conference time is necessary, please schedule another time to meet with the teacher.

Bake Sale for 2014

We will be hosting a bake sale at confrences next week and will need baked goods donated. Kathy Moylan will be at the school at the Class of 2014 table, located in the cafeteria, starting at 3:00 to accept donations. Items should be wrapped, ready to sell!

Volunteers needed for the Homecoming Dance

The first dance of the school year, the Homecoming Dance, will be held on Saturday, October 16th from 7:30 - 10:30pm. The finishing touches are being put into place at the school but we are in need of your assistance to ensure this dance is a HUGE success! Currently, we are short 20 volunteers. Please contact Toni Chammout at 313.300.9339 if you are available from 7:00 - 11:00 on the 16th. There are many positions available from helping with admissions, coat check, refreshments and security. All we ask that you wear comfortable business/dress attire. No jeans are allowed. It is a great opportunity to meet other parents and participate in this week long celebration! Catch the Pioneer the Spirit!
